JOB DESCRIPTION: Drives a residential garbage truck, as directed by Office Manager and Field Manager. Required: Clean driving record. CDL not required. Please send resume’ with driving experience and references. Safe driving practices. Friendly with customers. Self motivated individual who will complete each route on the assigned day. Team and customer first attitude. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs complete pre-trip inspection including, but not limited to, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls. Operates hydraulic controls to lift/load refuse and/or containers and to dispose of collected material at the designated facility. Courteously interacts with customers, dispatchers and supervisors. Completes required route sheets, Vehicle Condition Reports (VCRs) and other forms. Performs all driver check-in procedures upon returning to the facility at the end of the day. Follows all safety policies and procedures as mandated by DOT and OSHA. Operates other waste collection vehicles, as assigned. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Description: We have a need for an experienced driver for our Monday and Tuesday garbage routes, as well as our repos and deliveries that take place at the end of the week. The truck is a brand new rolloff truck that does not require a CDL. You will need experience driving a similar truck. We provide a tablet with routing software for each route and all the stops. You will need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day as needed. Most aren’t that heavy. Routes are through Morgan and Roane Counties. Pay is a day rate and varies based on experience and efficiency.
