Seed Technician/General Labor

Primary Tasks & Responsibilities: • Load and unload trucks/ grain wagons. • Operate equipment at our site to help facilitate the processing and handling of seed. This equipment includes forklifts, augers, gravity tables, seed cleaners, seed treaters etc. • Help preform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment longevity. • Perform clean downs on lines and equipment. • Track and document inventory during receiving, cleaning, and sales seasons. • General seed warehouse duties. • Adhere to safety procedures and use required safety equipment. Requirements: • Professional demeanor. • Knowledge/ Experience in of the seed industry preferred. • Driver License • CDL or willingness to obtain a commercial drivers license. • Ability to be flexible with work hour demands during busy seasons or as needed, including overtime and weekends. • Ability to handle the physical nature of the job such as climbing grain bin ladders, sweeping out grain bins, picking up 50 lb. bags of seed etc. • Ability to work outdoors in the heat and the cold. • Must pass drug test.
