Description

Proper basic system diagnosis – tune-up, brakes, air conditioning and all general repairs Removal, installation and servicing of components Assist in proper maintenance of shop and equipment Continued personal updated training Report any items that are out of stock to the Center Manger Assist with production as needed Complete proper check sheets as required and return to Center Manager Submit time sheet to Center Manager by 9:00 a.m. each Monday Maintain, collect and submit a productivity sheet listing each unit/RO for the week to the Center Manager Follow all policies and procedures as stated in the employee handbook Safety Keep shop bay area clean and neat on a daily, weekly and monthly basis Notify Center Manager and/or Safety Manager of any unsafe conditions, possible OSHA violations and any safety concerns Notify Center Manager and/or Safety Manager of any new hazard that maybe introduced in the workplace to ensure that the proper Safety Data Sheet is obtained in a timely manner Report absent associate calls to the Center Manager Customer Service Standards Road test vehicles, as needed Ensure that all doors are locked at the close of business each day Check customer cars for damage prior to accepting and delivering the car Verify that each customer vehicle has been completed properly and interior is clean General Qualifications Experience, Education and Licensure High School diploma or GED Have minimum set of quality tools Minimum of 1 year experience Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Punctuality Excellent follow-up & organizational skills Ability to multi-task Ability to follow instructions Language Skills Excellent verbal communication skills Excellent phone etiquette Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential; functions of this job.
