In2Action Maintenance Person – Full time: Pay commensurate to experience - only experienced people will be considered. In2Action is a faith-based residential transition program for people recently from jail or prison. As an agency with over 50 transitional beds and 10 apartments, the person hired for this position will be required to maintain seven different buildings, and the grounds of the in2Action campus. The campus is about 4-acres, located in northern Columbia. • Job Duties: o Perform minor maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, etc.) o Equipment maintenance, safety checks, grounds upkeep and organization o Assist with delivering, unloading, picking up and storing materials. o Coordinate and assist with snow removal o Perform lawn maintenance and landscaping as needed o Ensure facilities and grounds are kept clean, organized and in good working condition o Perform work orders o Perform routine repairs and complete scheduled preventive maintenance service. o Assist with the turn of vacated units in preparation for new resident move-in. o Assist with various landscape and renovation projects. • Requirements for Building Maintenance position: o Previous experience in building maintenance or construction trades o Basic plumbing and electrical skills o Good problem-solving skills o Ability to follow directions o Ability to lift heavy objects, work in adverse weather and after normal business hours when needed. • Other requirements: o Must have valid driver’s license o Must complete background check o Must have reliable transportation o Must work well with others o Must be able to work effectively with minimal oversight. o Must be available on weekends/evenings (rarely) Resume can be sent to Dan at the following email: [email protected]
