Reed's Plumbing is looking for a Service Plumber! Responsibilities include repairing pipes, tanks, and water fixtures, unclogging toilets and drains, and handling various residential plumbing requirements. You should also be able to diagnose problems, troubleshoot systems, and collaborate with other contractors when required. To be successful as a Service Plumber, you should be willing to do house calls after hours and be able to function under pressure. Installing pipes, drainage systems, sinks, toilets, and heating and cooling systems. Testing systems for leaks and other problems. Obeying health and safety codes at all times. Performing inspections and providing advice to homeowners. Selecting the most cost-effective, quality products for installation and repair. Working alongside electricians, construction workers, and other professionals. Providing time and cost estimates beforehand. Communicating effectively with clients, especially when a job is taking longer than expected. Being polite and respectful of clients and their homes at all times. Performs other duties as assigned. Flexibility to work overtime, on-call, and weekends, as required. Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent At least 2 years of plumbing experience is required Valid driver’s license Must have reliable transportation Ability to work independently and/or with your crew to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices Demonstrates general knowledge of tools and uses them safely Physical Requirements: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, OSHA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, OSHA, and other federal, state, and local standards Can stand, sit, walk, reach, balance, stoop, kneel for long periods of time Ability to lift tools and equipment of 75lbs or greater Can see up close, distances, colors and has use of peripheral vision and depth perception Must be able to perform physically strenuous work outdoors in all types of weather Competitive salary based on experience!
