GET PAID FOR LANGUAGE AND MEMORY RESEARCH The Aphasia Rehabilitation Research Laboratory at Temple University is seeking participants age 60+ for a study of language and memory. You start the study with 4 appointments over Zoom, lasting 2 hours each, where you will complete tests to evaluate your thinking skills. Don’t worry if you aren’t great with technology. We can guide you through the process! Then, you will come to Temple University’s Main Campus for an MRI scan of your brain and some more tests of your thinking skills in our lab. The scan lasts about 35 minutes. Extensive safety procedures are in place for in person appointments. LOCATION • Zoom testing=4 appointments • Temple MRI research center/Aphasia Lab=1 appointment ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS • Age 60 or older • Native English speaker • Cognitively healthy or with diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) PAYMENT • $20 for Zoom appointments • $80-$100 for MRI brain scan appointment • Parking reimbursement for MRI appointment TIME • 5-6 sessions lasting 2 hours each
