What is firewatch? Well, I'll tell you! The fire alarms have gone out in a building, so we need you to sit and make sure the building doesn't catch on fire. If it does, simply call 9-1-1. The hours are typically a 12 hour night shift. We do have some day shifts open as well. Duties include: Hourly monitoring of buildings throughout apartment community as directed by property manager. Keeping a clear log of hourly monitoring that will be turned into property staff at the end of each shift. Qualifications include: NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED Reliable transportation Working cell phone with overnight charging capabilities to be used in case of emergency Able to work 12 hour shifts overnight Possess valid identification Willing to complete pre-employment screening
