Our company specializes in the installation of smart technology into high-end homes and businesses. We design and install home automation systems, audio, video, lighting, automated shades, home surveillance systems, interior and landscape lighting, and voice control. We handle all phases of the process including design and engineering, rough-in, trim-out and programming cutting edge, smart technology into our client’s homes. We are looking or technicians at all levels. The ideal candidate would have the following personality traits; • Must be highly motivated. • Must be a self-starter. • Must have problem solving skills • Must have a positive “can do” attitude • Must be a punctual individual. • Must be reliable • Must be well groomed and have the ability to communicate effectively in person and/or via email, phone, or text to varied audiences. • Ability to visualize the sequence of work and convert it to a measurable plan and complete in a timely fashion. • Ability to work under pressure, assess multiple demands, and manage priorities. The ideal candidate would have the following skills/experience; • Must be able to test and tone wire. • Must be willing and able to work in attics and crawl spaces. • Must be able to work from ladders or scaffolding. • Must be able to work outdoors in the heat digging trenches and burring wires for outdoor speakers and landscape lighting. • Must be able to terminate Cat6, RG6 wire. Ability to terminate fiber is a plus. • Ability to read and interpret blue prints, electronic schematics, and user manuals. Knowledge of construction techniques and wiring methods for new and existing construction. • Knowledge in electrical, HVAC, or mechanical backgrounds are a plus. • Must be fluent with hand tools including but not limited to crimpers, strippers, drills, chipping hammers, hole saws • Experience setting up, spacing, and wiring of equipment racks. • An understanding of signal flows and control systems for distributed audio, video, and home theater systems and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems. • Upper level technicians needed for programming and setting up home networks and Wi-Fi systems including IP configuration, port forwarding, and remote access setup. • Experience programming home control systems such as Universal Remote Control, Savant, Control 4, Crestron, Lutron lighting control or similar systems. Willing to train a candidate who shows aptitude and is eager to learn the trade.
