Looking for players who would be interested in forming a horn band in the likes of BST, Chicago, Tower Of Power, Steely Dan and other groups with a similar rock, funk style. Ability to read music would be great but not necessary. There will be charts for those who like or need. Charts would be available before getting together to allow for individual rehearsal to help limit ensemble rehearsals. Vocals are also a plus but singers who don’t play an instrument are encouraged to respond. If you are the best performer in your group but are a little frustrated that it isn’t going to get better than it already is, please respond. If you want to play this style music but don’t want to leave your band for whatever reason, please respond, we should be able to work around that. With COVID hopefully being brought under control this year this might be a good opportunity to reboot your music. I’ve played all over the USA with some well known personalities and lots of unknowns. I want to have a project that will stand up with the best of them. I hope there will be enough response to have alternates so those of you who are interested would be able to work around scheduling conflicts. I’m not going to try and pump you up with some Tony Robbins style pep talk about how much money we can make. But we can make some amazing music together and THAT can lead to the money.
