Irrigation Technician / Full Time 40 Hrs/Week The Irrigation Technician position will serve as a focal point where a variety of issues and requests will be brought to you by the landscape and maintenance managers. This individual must be a self-starter and have the abilities to foresee problems and have the skills needed to solve them. Strong communication skills, accuracy, the ability to multi task and independently manage your work responsibilities is essential. More importantly, we're looking for someone who has similar values as the company and team members. This candidate will be articulate, understands the importance of their role, has demonstrated reliability, consistency, and values a team environment. Irrigation Technician Responsibilities: This individual will work closely with Production Managers and Project Managers to: • Monitor and test commercial irrigation systems • Troubleshoot and repair problems • Walk property and inspect irrigation system and identify issues • Replace and/or repair Irrigation heads, nozzles, drip, laterals, mainlines, wire issues and valves • Conduct and record detailed inspections and plan/execute upgrades of commercial irrigation systems • Ability to manage time and priorities well Qualifications • 4+ years of commercial landscape maintenance experience • Valid driver’s license • Ability to use multi-meter and wire locator • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines • Ability to manage multiple properties • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • High level of accuracy, attention to detail and follow-through is a must • Ability to find and correct errors • Dependable.
