Local video game company in Santa Fe Springs is looking for an experienced route collector / technician, but will TRAIN the right candidate. A valid California Driver's license with a clean driving record is a must. Minimum high school degree or GED required. Position requires detail-oriented individuals who are accurate with the handling of money, basic math, filling out forms, etc. At least two years of cash handling skills required. Candidate must possess basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) including giving correct change and balancing daily cash statements. Candidate must be able to conduct simple math problems such as addition and subtraction in your head. Candidate must have excellent organizational skills and some technical aptitude. Candidate must possess the ability to problem-solve and arrive at solutions. Customer service skills are an important part of this job function, as games and jukeboxes are located on customer's property and route men represent the company. Customer service skills include but are not limited to, friendly demeanor, helpful manner and polite conversation with customers, answering questions and providing accurate information. Candidate must have the ability to read and speak in the English language. Spanish-speaking abilities are a plus, but are not required. This is an active position. The candidate will use wrists, hands, and fingers to count monies, fill out reports, and make repairs. Employee will bend, stand, reach, squat, push, pull and carry during the scope of this job. Candidate might be required to lift 50 pound bags of coin as well ability to use dollies to move/transport games weighing up to 350 pounds.
