It’s an exciting time to join Osterkamp Transportation team as a Driver Trainer in Pomona! In this position, you will provide driver training services to drivers and training will include so office instruction, range training, road training and a road test, to drivers who are operating commercial motor vehicles with Class A licensing. Requirements: - Class A Driving License, Forklift and Computer skills ARE REQUIRED! - 1+ years of Class A driver TRAINING experience, including classroom and behind-the-wheel, and experience using electronic logging devices (ELD) and applications - This position is a home office based position out of Pomona, Ca. - Instruction on DOT regulations, safe vehicle operation, and other topics related to the safe and effective operation of a Commercial Motor Vehicle. - Determines final pass/fail on driving skills. - Works with support staff to ensure training materials and other resources are available and operational when needed. - Provides feedback on training effectiveness and opportunities for improvement to training development staff. - Enforces and supports all company policies and procedures.
