Company: AAA Barricade Company has been providing traffic control services for the state of Utah for the last 10 years. One of the leaders in the traffic control industry, we continue to grow, always looking for better ways to utilize technology and increase efficiency. Overview: The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of safety for the company. This includes supervising multiple traffic control construction project sites, ensure compliance with UDOT & MUTCD standards, and training employees on safety requirements & handbook. Responsibilities Train and conduct employee safety meetings Conduct onsite project safety meetings and evaluations Make sure employees are utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment Consult with managers on disciplinary actions when required Counsel and review safety problems with employees and managers Ensure required UDOT paperwork is being completed properly Schedule : Monday - Friday with possible weekends (flexible scheduling) Qualifications Willing to learn and become knowledgeable with UDOT & MUTCD standards - prior experience and knowledge is preferred. Ability to plan, prioritize, problem solve, multi-task & organize effectively. Hold a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (no DUIs or serious traffic violations.) Ability to communicate with others & train large groups of people --Wages - negotiable pending experience
