Found small gray cat

Description

small female gray (tabby?) very thin, clear green eyes, wandered into our garage. Our lab went to attack her and my husband stepped in, so we are not equipped to keep her very long. Rescues are mostly not taking in cats that I have contacted. She has some mats, she is very quiet, let me pick her up. If I put her down she just started slowly walking away. She is very sweet but so thin, we don't know if someone just dropped her off. We have 3 dogs that hate cats so she is in a small crate, I have no cat box or anything to take care of a cat. Any help would be appreciated!
