Roanoke Granite We are looking to hire one full time employee to learn both Templates for stone countertops for things such as kitchens, bathrooms, fireplaces, possibly be able to measure for flooring, tile, cabinets etc. This position will also require the employee to learn to cut the stone, as the templater for this company will also be the saw-man. This is a full time position Monday through Friday 8-10 hours a day depending on job load. This job requires you to be trained in driving a forklift, but does not require a lot of heavy lifting. Training in some type of construction would be ideal but we are willing to hire as a shadow to train you to perform the job. The pay rate will be based on experience/degree. If you have a degree in any type of architecture please let us know that as that will affect your starting rate. We are located locally on Orange Ave in Roanoke however you will be provided a vehicle to take to the job sites for measurements to prevent you from using your personal transportation.
