ROLE: The Warehouse Team Member is responsible for packaging units of doors, distribution products and preparing truckloads to be shipped. Includes picking and filling shelf good items, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse in a safe and productive manner. HOURS: Monday-Friday 7 am-3:30 pm RESPONSIBILIIES: Prepares orders for shipment by processing requests and supply orders; pulling the correct materials (approximately 40-60 lbs) Follow standard processes and procedures and load trucks Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins per organizational standards Assist in counting of physical inventory Perform all duties safely, in accordance with our safety standards and OSHA Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Dependable and Reliable with a positive and willing attitude Motivated, quick problem solver who likes to work in a fast-paced team Able to read and follow instructions; successfully manage workflow to meet shipping deadlines. Frequently lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs, occasionally up to 80lbs Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Forklift operation skills including: Confidence in operational abilities Overhead stacking and unstacking of multiple sized units Memorizing and following safe stacking rules COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Competitive Wage $15/hr and up DOE Medical/Dental/Vision Retirement Plan Paid Holidays Paid Time Off COMPETENCIES PREFERRED: High School diploma or equivalent 1-2 yrs previous warehouse experience Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills Current Forklift Certification MORE ABOUT OUR COMPANY: We are an equal opportunity employer and one of North America's leading distributors of high-quality door products.
