Nelson is a 2 year old spayed pit/rottweiler mix, but is about the height of a cocker spaniel. She is a sweet girl that is trained with basic commands: sit, down, out, outside. She is fully house trained and gets along well with my 2 sons and indoor cats. The reason we are looking for a new home for her is she is a high energy dog and is miserable with our older, lazy dog for a companion and our low energy family. Even with my sons playing in the yard with her daily, her boredom is leading her to destructive behavior. We have tried redirecting her to chew toys and giving her calming supplements. But she is destroying our house just trying to get energy out. She needs an adventurous owner or family that will take her out jogging at least once a day. She's a sleek, beautiful girl with an unusually soft coat for her breed. She'd be great for a single guy as an icebreaker. She is a dominant dog and will require a submissive dog if there is another dog at home. We are asking $100 for her. And, will gladly take her back if she turns out not to be a perfect fit. We love her very much and just want her to live her best possible life.
