"THE HEADLESS HORSEMEN - keyboardist Will Bertolette, bassist David Randall, and drummer Gary Roberts - create laid back ambient sounds rooted in mainstream jazz sensibilities, always with an ear out for improvisation and experimentation. All veterans of various ensembles, the Horsemen started gathering outdoors during Covid, taking advantage of these quieter times to get back to studying the greats and applying those lessons to their own music."
