JOB SUMMARY: Material handler is responsible for making sure team has all materials needed to complete daily worklist safely. Material handler assist and supports department supervisor with efficient daily operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Communicates with supervisor on material needed for daily production. • Follow the weekly production plan and stage each line based on plan and priority. • Detailed knowledge of the hard goods materials. • Ensures that hard goods areas are kept clean, organized and maintained to safety standards. • Keep daily cycle counts of all green goods. • Check in green goods on arrival and communicate with supervisor accuracy. • Communicate with Leads on the line product needs. • Communicate with Production Coordinator on daily accomplishments and challenges • Able to operate all tools needed to perform the job, including driving forklift and computer program usage. • Works in other departments when season requires help elsewhere. • Understands department direction. • Promotes safety. • Participates on department continues improvement and 6S initiatives. • Conducts self with high-level integrity, adhering to company standards and values.
