This summer, discover the career opportunities that exist in the world of healthcare. Students will participate in hands-on activities that will introduce them to the concepts behind different healthcare professions, including Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Nurse Practitioner, Nursing, Nutrition, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Pre-professional Healthcare, Radiology, Social Work & Surgery.
Who: Students going into 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade
When: June 8 & 9 from 8:00am - 3:45pm
Where: USF Doermer Health Science Center, 2701 Spring Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808
Why: Learn about healthcare careers through fun, hands-on activities
Cost: $50 per camper (Includes lunch) Registration will open April 22 ,2021.
Scholarships Available: Cost will be $20 per camper (includes lunch). Scholarships are for those campers who are interested in receiving Financial Aid. Qualification is dependent upon the camper's ability to answer yes to any of the following:
You are a 21st Century Scholar or currently receive Scholarship or Loan for Disadvantaged Students.
You or your family have used federal or state assistance programs (such as: free or reduced school lunch, WIC, subsidized housing, food stamps, Medicaid or Hoosier Healthwise, etc.).
Campers will be walking from building to building. Gym shoes are recommended. Campers will be required to wear a mask at all times. Covid governmental guidelines will be followed.
