Description

We are looking for a motivated, dependable and experienced landscaper to lead our team here at Tucson/Lazydays KOA Resort. Someone who is a self starter and works well with others is essential. We believe the most successful candidate will be an individual who needs minimal supervision, and is confident in taking charge of what needs to be done to ensure the entirety of the property is looking it's best. SPECIFIC DUTIES • Implement daily, weekly and monthly maintenance and cleaning programs as instituted by the Campground Manager, the Operations Manager or the Maintenance Supervisor, including the, lawn mowing, weed eating, and landscaping. Irrigation: • Repair, maintenance, timers, running new lines, and sprinkler heads are the main needs • General care and close attention to maintaining the health of all trees and plants on the property Citrus Tree Maintenance: • Fertilizing, trimming, removing dropped or dead fruit, applying growth regulator to olive trees, etc. • Monitoring of tree health, and troubleshooting problems for struggling trees General Duties • Maintaining desert plants, hedges, and grass areas • Pre-emergent application and weed control • Trimming, mowing, weed whipping, and overall maintenance of all plants and grass areas on the property • Maintaining tools and equipment used for landscaping. • Comply with all KOA, federal, state and local safety programs by adhering to established guidelines in the operation and storage of various equipment, tools, and chemicals, ensuring your safety, as well as that of fellow staff and campground customers • Provide superior customer service by being attentive, responsive and helpful to guests needs. Report all customer problems, requests or complaints to the Campground Manager, the Operations Manager or the Maintenance Supervisor
