CONSTRUCTION DETAILER – Residential Construction Reports to: Superintendent Division: Hunt Skansie Land – a division of Rush Residential FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Date: 02/22/21 Position Hunt Skansie Land, a division of Rush Residential, and is a local builder based in Gig Harbor currently building 174 detached, rental homes. This position will support the collective effort of delivering quality homes to new lessors by detailing the homes and attending to small repairs, adjustments and corrections necessary to be completed before delivering the home to its tenant. In every project we undertake we are focused on delivering quality homes and cover a broad set of sizes and price points ranging from square footage up to 1500 sq ft. Scope of Responsibility - Performs warranty work in occupied/sold homes - Constructs, installs, and repairs fixtures and structures made from wood and other materials - Ensures carpentry and trim detail - Completes drywall touch-up and repair - Completes touch-up painting during punch out process - Conducts millwork repair/installation - Provides appliance installation/adjustments to cabinets as needed Requirements - 3-5 years’ of experience working in applicable construction trades - Valid Driver’s License - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Frequently transports materials at various job sites and operates equipment/machinery - Performs tasks on all areas and aspects of a construction project Are You The Right Fit? - Strong work ethic, self-motivated - Demonstrates follow-through and ability to work independently - Works well with fellow employees, subcontractors, and vendors; reports to Superintendent Company offers competitive base wage and benefits package, along with performance profit sharing plan.
