Job SummaryMaintaining all equipment, systems and building components, including, but not limited to, mechanical and electrical systems, pumps, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, locks, furniture, paint, wall coverings, tile and other equipment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Duties and Responsibilities:• Builds, repairs, and paints all parts of the restaurant.• Installs and replaces lighting fixtures and bulbs.• Inspect all restaurant equipment regularly to ensure they meet safety standards are proper functionality.• Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.• Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.• Furniture and fixture repairs• Paint any area of restaurant when necessary.• Transports heavy boxes and packages if needed.• Assists in delivering and set-up of all new equipment such as tables, chairs, etc. • Receiving and verifying daily deliveries for the bar, office or restaurant. Skills and Qualifications:• Previous restaurant experience as an engineer is preferred or comparable maintenance experience in Hospitality. • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations• Familiarity with painting, electricity, plumbing, repairs, etc. • Some excessive lifting, bending, walking are physical requirements.• Schedule dependability, professional communication, positive attitude and some computer knowledge are important.• Personal vehicle preferred.• Must have flexible schedule availability.
