Description

If you suffer from arthritis, colder weather makes joints expand due to the increasing thickness of fluid. Moving joints allows the synovial fluid to heat and become fluid once more. 1. Exercise Here are a few exercises that you can do to improve your arthritic pain to increase mobility and quality of life. · Arm raises: slowly raise your arms above your head with the thumbs pointing towards the ceiling, and slowly lower them down again. Repeat this as long as your body needs it and the shoulders feel loose. · Mini squats: stand with your feet in parallel with a foot width between them. Keep your trunk upright and slightly bend your knees keeping them in line with your 2nd toe. · Finger curls: Curl your fingers in and out. 2. Keep Hydrated Synovial fluid is made up of a large percentage of water. If you do not have enough water in your body, the synovial fluid thickens.
