A magical celebration of the earth, life and the passage of time. The Vernal Equinox is the time of the year when the Sun is exactly above the equator and the day and night are of equal length. According to astronomical definition of the seasons, this marks the beginning of SPRING! Let's celebrate and give reverence for the occasion. We will sing , play music and dance barefoot on the tender new grass honoring our Mother Earth and the Universe bringing awareness to the passage of time and how blessed we are to have it.   To honor the occasion, please dress in all white. Also to honor the occation, we will make flower crowns! Please bring a bouquet of flowers for this collaborative project. (A bouquet of the same flowers is preferred versus a mixed bouquet.) With the remaining flowers we will also create a small flower mandala! Singing and dancing collectively has the power to unite spirits, uplift souls, and inspire faith and healing. We will conclude our celebration with a drum circle around a warm fire. We will sing songs simple enough for anyone to honor the earth and send healing vibrations out into our community. I hope you can join us for this magical afternoon.
