ANNAPOLIS, MD — Edgewater photographer Danielle Lundberg wrote a cookbook of Annapolis recipes. The compilation, titled "Dine Out in Annapolis While Eating In," teaches readers how to make their favorite dishes from classic restaurants around the city. Some of the proceeds will benefit Feed Anne Arundel, a press release informed. The charity helps restaurant workers struggling during the coronavirus pandemic. It also fights food insecurity across the county. "I love to eat. I love to take photos. I love to go to these restaurants and taverns," Lundberg said in the release. "I decided it was time to do something that combined these passions and helped those who are struggling." Lundberg's cuisine photography company, called Naptown Food, published the book. It is on sale for $37.50 at naptownfood.com. The first deliveries will ship on March 1. Some restaurants will have the book on site. Digital copies are on the horizon, and release parties will celebrate when the pandemic allows. "My jeans may be a bit tighter from sampling all of the great food that is featured," Lundberg added. "But my heart is full knowing that we can make a difference in the lives of this industry, its employees and those are having a hard time putting food on their family's table." The book features recipes from: Level: A Small Plates LoungeSoulJulep Southern KitchenBoatyard Bar and GrillVin 909Annapolis Market HouseLuna BluStan and Joe'sBlack Wall HitchIn GranoPark TavernCaliente GrillPreservePusser'sBroadneck GrilleAnd more This isn't Lundberg's first charitable effort either. She also published a calendar called "Annapolis Dogs" over the summer. That venture raised more than $1,500 for the SPCA, Lundberg noted. Like what you're reading?
