HAMDEN, CT — A reward for information to leading to an arrest in connection with the 2019 killing of a Hamden man is being increased to $50,000, according to police. Dennis Allen-Paige, 21, of Hamden, was shot and killed during an apparent robbery on Dec. 8, 2019, according to police. Allen-Paige was walking home from work around 12:25 a.m. when he was approached by several men who apparently sought to rob him, according to Capt. Ronald Smith. Allen-Paige suffered a fatal gunshot wound to his upper back as he fled from the unidentified men, Smith previously said. Smith announced Monday that Gov. Ned Lamont has authorized a reward of $50,000 for information leading to an arrest in the homicide case. The previous reward, which Lamont authorized in December, was $25,000. Police will hold a news conference on Tuesday afternoon to discuss the increased reward, according to Smith.
