Press release from Town of Darien DPW: Feb. 22, 2021 The Gorham's Pond Tide Gates flushing and cleaning, Winter-Spring 2021 Schedule is: Opened on Monday, March 1, 2021; and, Closed on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. Tide gates cannot be operated following extensive rain events or a series of very high tides because of the large volume of water flowing over the dam.
