Summary The Project Manager provides direct oversight to hourly employees. This person ensures that standards are being met; locations are fully staffed, and continually work to develop the employees that report to them. Through evaluation of sites, and excellent communication skills, the Project Manager ensures customer satisfaction on every level. Responsible for the management of workers assigned to the contract to include, but not be limited to: Trains all employees and trainees in the duties and requirements of the contract; ensures that all employees and trainees are in proper uniform and carry appropriate identification while on duty; conducts employee orientation to the site(s); schedules all vacation and personal days; writes and updates all job descriptions as required; maintains all time and attendance records. Job Duties • Responsible for the day-to-day custodial project as specified in contract and in accordance with specified quality requirements. Acts as a liaison between MQC Enterprises, Inc employees and government employees • Assign duties and tasks to employees and inspect work for cleanliness and completion • Determine work procedures and prepare schedules while ensuring the account stays within the given labor budget • Conduct new hire orientation, safety training, job training, etc. to assure hourly employees can perform tasks in an efficient and safe manner • Schedules staff and employee work hours to maintain adequate service levels while meeting the SourceAmerica 75% disabled ratio rate and staying within budgeted labor hours • Prepare and review all required paperwork such as time sheets, accident reports, new hire paperwork, employee training records, work orders, equipment and supply orders, etc. • Maintains all supply and equipment inventories following established procedures for control and ordering of items • Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment • Maintains all equipment in clean, working order for maximum performance and value • Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components • Is responsible for any subcontract in areas required by contract, which we are not able to service • Create an open line of communication by assisting in employee relations problems, and coaching and counseling employees to empower success • Establish relationships with customers by visiting sites on a regular basis to assure the highest quality of service • Resolve problems and complaints in a timely manner to maintain the highest customer satisfaction possible • Document customer contacts and concerns on an on-going basis, and assist with follow through to assure issues are resolved • Monitor assigned site s for work order opportunities and additional work that can be added to the contract • Obtains and maintains industry credentials as required or assigned • Any other duties as assigned Requirements • Two to three years of management experience required, and a qualified individual must have several years (5) of janitorial industry experience as well • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English • Must be able to multitask and adapt to changing environments • Must have very good physical condition and strength to cover a large space • Must have a customer service mindset, and training skills • Must possess a current and valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle • Must possess good communication skills • Must present self in a professional manner • Must be able to obtain and maintain secret level security • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs., reach, bend and squat • Ability to prioritize and organize work under minimal supervision • Ability to work beyond normal schedule as needed Other Relevant Job Information • Salary Range $40,000 to $45,000 based on experience • Health and Welfare Benefits • Bonus Pay Based on Contract Annual Performance Please apply in person, no phone calls.
