RARE "Tree of Life" 6' X 9' Persian Hand Knotted Carpet $1350

Description

This is a rare double "Tree of Life" hand knotted 100% wool Persian rug. There is a pottery container at each end and the branches wind together towards the center with spectacular flowers in rose, blues, greens and ivory. I believe it was made in Iran around 50-60 years ago. It's in beautiful condition. The colors are vibrant and the knotting is tight and even. The fringe is also in excellent condition. It has been in a 100% non smoking and pet free home for generations, although I'm not the original owner. I bought it from a rug merchant in NYC many years ago. We just moved into a condo a year ago and I don't have a place for it here, sadly. I'd be happy to show you this carpet at our home near Wickford Center in North Kingstown, RI. (right off Ten Rod Road, Route 102.) I will consider serious offers, but this is already an incredible price for this valuable carpet. It's worth much, much more. Cash only at pick-up please.
