Description
The Advanced Website Developer will assist in updating and editing back-end and front-end code for various websites, creating and editing web page templates, and assisting in other web-related projects as necessary. Must be available to work on-site in Newport, RI.
Duties & Responsibilities
Projects may include, but will not be limited to:
Write custom HTML, PHP, CSS and JavaScript for existing websites and applications.Design, recommend and pitch improvements to new and existing features.Assist in troubleshooting issues on web-based systems.Update and edit website content, posts and pages.Provide technical support related to web-based systems to internal teams.Test and give feedback on new and existing technologies.Create prototypes and experiment with new technologies and features as assigned.
Ideal candidate
We are looking for a highly-motivated, passionate team player. Experience with WordPress, HTML, and/or CSS is required as well as knowledge of PHP and Javascript. Familiarity with Laravel, CakePHP, NodeJS, React, Laravel Vue & Nova, and Docker is strongly preferred. Must have proficiency in Linux, with Linux server-related experience preferred. Must have the ability to work independently to solve problems and learn new skills as required.
