looking for others interested in forming an eco-village

If you're into living simply on land north of the metro but don't have the funds to purchase a large parcel, perhaps you'd consider joining a small group of 10 or less people to purchase 150-250 acres? We're looking for those who don't need the mcMansion in the woods... folks who are okay with a more moderate sized house 1200-2000 sq ft... sustainably built... cordwood and masonry - strawbale, timber frame, A-Frame... etc. Each household would have 5-10 acres for their homestead - all separately deeded... The rest of the land could be set up as a coop where each person owns shares... a pole barn could be set up to share the tools and resources. Nothing is etched in stone here, we're just looking for others who want to get out of the metro and live more sustainably in the north woods of Minnesota.
