Grab your clubs and your best foursome for the GCM Golf Scramble at Queen's Harbour Yacht & Country Club on Monday, March 29. Registration Welcome! We are very happy to host our first GCM Golf Scramble in Jacksonville and look forward to hosting an event that is fun and safe for all golfers. Your registration fee for the tournament is $100 per player or $400 per foursome. Players We want to make sure that everyone's safe and in order to do that we have implemented a few rules. For starters, we will not be gathering for breakfast or lunch in order to comply with the safe distancing guidelines. We will have restaurants set up at almost every hole so that all the golfers can get plenty to eat. The Clubhouse will not be open. We will register everyone outside of the clubhouse and ask that everyone stays at a safe 6-foot distance from the next golfer as the golfers grab their goody bag, mulligan bag (if you want one/purchased one) and breakfast. Once you have gathered your things, head over to your golf cart for instructions. Please be kind to your fellow players. We are all here to have a great time and enjoy ourselves. Now more than ever, we should focus on enjoying the great game of golf and our friendships. Each player will get their own bottle of hand sanitizer. We will tee off at 9:00 sharp. Goody Bags Who doesn't like nice things? Our team has worked hard in order to provide you with a goody bag that you are sure to love. Each bag will have the following: 1. Callaway Polo 2. Foursome to Ironwood Golf Course 3rd Place: 1. $25 gift certificate to the Ironwood pro shop per player 2. $10 gift certificate to Grub per player Mulligan Bag: $20 2 Mulligans 1 Tee shot form the women's tees Food We are happy to announce that we will have a restaurant at almost every hole. We ask that you please make sure to stay a safe distance when approaching the food tents. We will not be having a traditional lunch after the tournament, so please get as much to eat from every restaurant throughout the tournament. Drinks All good tournaments offer a variety of drinks and so will we. We will have beer, soda and water going around on the drink cart. Carts It appears that single-rider carts are going to be with us for a while. Most courses don't have enough carts to accommodate a full field event and Ironwood is no exception. If you live/work/are in the same bubble as the person you will be riding alongside with and you both feel comfortable, you can choose to ride together. If not, we need to prioritize carts for those who need them most, starting with seniors or anyone with a physical handicap. If we run out of carts, walking will have to be our last resource. Flag Stick - Leave It In Please make sure to not remove the flag stick. We know that this may take time to get used to but for now, we need to leave it the hole. Driving Range If you would like to show up early to hit a few balls at the driving range, you are welcome to do so. Please keep your distance from others and make sure that you register when it's your time to do so. Putting Green If you would like to show up early to practice your putting game, you are welcome to do so. Please keep your distance from others and make sure that you register when it's your time to do so. Cancellation Do to Weather If we need to cancel the scramble due to weather, we will reschedule it at a later date. You will get a rain check to come back and play at a different time if we are unable to play at a later date. You will also get to keep your goody bag. There are no refunds.
