ELMHURST, IL — Elmhurst police released its latest arrest reports Monday. Here is information from the reports: Drugs Dylan Vaughn 23, of Darien, was arrested about 8 p.m. Thursday at York and First on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. In the same stop, Brianna Miller, 26, of Willowbrook, was arrested on a charge of DUI (drugs). She was released on bond. Fraudulent identifications Juan Rodriguez-Pardo, 25, of Glendale Heights, was arrested about 4:30 p.m. Saturday at North and Highland on charges of forgery, no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, transportation of open alcohol, unlawful delivery of alcohol to a minor and unsafe tire. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, Rodriguez-Pardo had never been issued a driver's license and was in possession of several fraudulent permanent resident and Social Security cards. Resisting arrest Arkevia N. Candler, 18, of Chicago, was arrested about 7 p.m. Saturday at North and Villa on a warrant and on charges of obstructing identification, resisting arrest and failure to wear a seat belt. She was taken to the Cook County Jail. According to a police report, Candler provided a false name to officers. DUI Edward P. Rivera, 38, of Chicago, was arrested about 4:30 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of East St. Charles on charges of DUI, driving with a revoked license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and stopping or parking on a roadway. He was released on bond. Shawn M. King, 50, of Villa Park, was arrested at 2 a.m. Sunday at North and Highland on charges of DUI, improper lane usage, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and speeding. He was released on bond. Evelyn D. Dobbs, 35, of Calumet City, was arrested about 5 a.m. Sunday on charges of DUI, aggravated driving with a revoked license, disobeying a traffic control signal, transportation of open alcohol, tinted windows and no license plate light. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Driving violations Jose Barrientos Martinez, 21, of Chicago, was cited about 2 a.m. Friday at North and Melrose on charges of no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no license plate light. He was released on bond. Dominic Gonzalez, 21, of Chicago, was cited about 3:30 p.m. Friday at North and West on charges of possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and unlawfully using a phone while driving. He was released on bond. Raul Veliz Flores, 32, of Zion, was cited about 11 p.m. Friday at Lake and Grand on charges of no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to signal when required, improper lane usage and transportation of open alcohol by a driver. He was released on bond. According to a police report, he was found to have never been issued a driver's license. William A. Tsanakas, 48, of Chicago, was cited about 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Route 83 and Second on charges of unlawful possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and no seat belt. He was released on bond. Darrian L. Jones, 28, of Chicago, was cited about 7 p.m. Saturday at North and Villa on charges of failure to restrain a child under 8 in a child restraint system, failure to wear a seat belt and tinted windows. He was released on bond. Frannika Potts, 27, of Melrose Park, was cited about 7:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Charles and Cottage Hill on charges of driving with a suspended license and improper lighting. She was released on bond.Justine S. Tovar, 34, of Stickney, was cited about 1:30 a.m. Sunday at St. Charles and Fair on a charge of no valid driver's license. She was released on bond. Dexter L. Thomas, 30, of Glendale Heights, was cited about 1 a.m. Monday at North and Route 83 on charges of possession of marijuana by a driver and tinted windows. He was released on bond. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
