Kindergarten readiness and review skills camp for kids ages 4-6 years of age. Reconnect with nature & peers while detoxing from screens! ReWild The Child NWA is a nature-based occupational therapy practice in Bentonville. Our mission is to reconnect kids with nature and peers to enhance overall wellness of kids in our community of Northwest Arkansas. Kindergarten Readiness & Review is a unique nature sensory camp for kids to explore the outdoors among peers with the guidance of pediatric occupational therapists. The focus of camp will be Fine Motor, Social, and Self-Regulation Skills through play-based activities. Children need not be receiving occupational therapy services to participate in this camp experience. Ages: 4-6 years old Camp begins at 9 AM and ends at 12 PM each day. Activities: Nature HikesScavenger HuntsNature CraftsMindfulness GamesSimple snacks provided. Campers should wear clothes and shoes that can get wet, as there will be activities that involve water and mud! Parents/Caregivers are responsible for applying insect repellent and sunscreen each day before activities begin. Camper Requirements: Campers must be able to follow directions individually and in a group setting.Campers must be independent with basic self-care skills such as toileting, dressing, and feeding.Campers must be verbally independent.Campers must not be a flight risk. Refunds: No cancellations or refunds after camp session has started. Cancellations accepted up to 5 days until start of camp with a $50 cancellation fee. *Location subject to change
