SAN JOSE, CA —San Jose police arrested a man following an armed robbery attempt downtown on Sunday.
According to a statement on Twitter, the incident took place on the 300 block of N 5th St. The victim told police he was robbed at knifepoint and the suspect had gone into a nearby apartment. Officers found the suspect uncooperative and barricaded in the apartment, and it took several hours before he was taken into custody around 6 p.m.
