SCOTTSDALE, AZ — A man has been arrested for manslaughter and endangerment in connection with a fatal car crash that occurred Sunday night morning, Scottsdale police said.
The Scottsdale Police Department said Monday it had arrested 27-year-old Chaz Malcom and charged him with manslaughter. Officers responded to the area near Scottsdale and Chaparral Roads just before 10 p.m.
An investigation found that a car turning left onto Chaparral from Scottsdale was hit by a car traveling south on the latter street. Two adult men in the car turning left were taken to the hospital with serious injuries; one later died. Malcom was the driver of the southbound car. He was arrested for manslaughter and endangerment at the scene.
