Come join your kids and explore one of the most bio-diverse ecosystems in the Northern Hemishpere as we island hop the Indian River Lagoon. Looking for a fun Spring Break Adventure to enjoy with your kids? Explore the Indian River Lagoon and enjoy a picnic lunch on an island. The Indian River Lagoon is part of one of the most bio-diverse estuaries in the entire Northern Hemisphere and it's right in our back yard. It has over 4300 species of plants and animals and over 35 endangered species. It is home to 1/3 of the entire manatee population. We will most likely see dolphins, manatees, rays, horseshoe crabs and more. Bring a lunch in a cooler and enjoy a picnic on Horseshoe Crab Island. The kids can explore the island and go for a swim. This is beginner friendly, we will have multiple guides by your side to make sure you and your kids are safe and successful. If you have been wanting to step out of your comfort zone, this is your day!! Lake Life Paddle is an inclusive and supportive group and we LOVE beginners. Event fee includes: -Paddleboard or kayak, paddle and all safety equipment. Younger kids can ride on a board with a parent. Just purchase one ticket. -Dry Bag for your phone and valuables -Lesson or refresher if you need one -Water and light snacks -Lots of fresh air, sunshine and water therapy What you should wear: -Bathing suit or workout attire - Jacket or hoodie if it's chilly -Water shoes or flip flops for exploring the island. What you should bring: -Sunscreen, hat and sunglasses -Towel or picnic blanket for picnic on the island -Towel and change of clothing -Picnic lunch in a cooler -Your lovely smile This event is $10 with your own board.
