James C. Metzger of The Whitmore Agency of Garden City recently was honored by Blank Slate Media as one of the top 2020 Nassau County business leaders. A virtual event celebrated the 25 county business leaders on February 19. The individuals (please click here to see the list of honorees) were selected for their influence in their respective fields, for expanding boundaries to achieve success and for developing visions to advance their businesses. Nominations were open to anyone in any field who exhibited the skills to run a successful company, tackle challenges and positively influence colleagues to strengthen a company. This year’s event, according to Blank Slate Media Publisher Steven Blank, embraced “the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic for each of our honorees and their success in overcoming those challenges.” Blank Slate Media is a fast-growing media organization serving the North Shore of Nassau County through digital, print publications and live events.
