Essential Functions: 1. Receive equipment/material deliveries, check them in, stage for pick up or coordinate delivery to job site 2. Coordinate deliveries and pickups with vendors 3. Prepare daily delivery/pick up schedule for company delivery truck driver 4. Communicate with Project Managers, Supervisors, Project Foremen, freight carriers and vendors to ensure smooth deliveries and pickups 5. Receive material orders from field and in-office construction staff, fulfill orders from on-site inventory and place orders with vendors to fulfill material needs 6. Inventory, order and maintain stock; responsible for storing and staging stock 7. Responsible for negotiating and tracking pricing with vendors 8. Maintain order and cleanliness in warehouse and yard areas; keep waste to a minimum; recycle as much as possible 9. Ensures the efficient organization and layout of the warehouse by optimizing processes for receiving, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders 10. Load and unload trucks using a forklift 11. Properly price out and appropriately cost items pulled from stock to the correct job 12. Adhere to safety standards and exhibit a high degree of regard for employee and subcontractor safety 13. Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skill and Experience: Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Minimum Experience required: 5 years warehouse/inventory management experience. 1- 2 years shipping and receiving experience. Skills Required: Knowledge of HVAC equipment, sheet metal and piping materials and terminology Ability to safely operate power tools Fork lift license and certification Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures Familiar with construction trade labor practices Ability to effectively represent National Air & Energy and communicate with customers and others at varying technical levels Competence in Microsoft Office applications Physical Requirements: Frequent bending, grasping, reaching, standing, pushing, pulling and sitting Repetitive motion with hands and fingers Occasional keyboard and ten-key use Occasional kneeling, squatting and climbing stairs Ability to lift 50 pounds This job is primarily assigned to an outdoor environment with moderate noise levels, uncontrolled temperature conditions, and no direct exposure to hazardous substances.
