Borrego is seeking a Landscaper to join our growing team! The Landscaper is regarded as the entry-level or apprentice position, and will work under direct supervision from higher level technical team member and/or management staff. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: The following activities are performed on a daily basis: Demonstrate integrity, strong initiative, work ethic, as well as a focus on safety and quality of work on a continuous basis Perform vegetation management through the use of mowers and handheld, motorized trimmers Perform regular maintenance on all mowing equipment Under supervision, perform Preventive Maintenance on solar and battery installations in accordance with Borrego, customer, and OEM standards Under supervision, perform Corrective Maintenance on solar and battery installations in accordance with Borrego, customer, and OEM standards, ensuring that the root cause has been identified and corrected Ensure that work being performed in the area meets or exceeds Borrego O&M standards Perform panel washing through the use of water fed brushes Complete assigned tasks safely, correctly, and within the allotted time Ensure all PPE, tools, and equipment assigned to the employee are accounted for, maintained in good condition, repaired or replaced as required Correctly document all work in a Service Visit and Case within Borrego's CMMS. Correct documentation includes proper grammar and spelling, photography, thermal photography, and completion of checklists Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be determined by the Area Supervisor SAFETY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Safety is a core value at Borrego and the Landscaper must: Read, understand and sign all safety procedures Attend weekly safety meetings Receive, inspect, and maintain all required PPE Complete all required safety training Ensure every safety incident known to the employee is reported timely and accurately Ensure every safety incident involving the employee is fully investigated, documented and corrective actions are implemented REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent Must be able to pass a criminal background, pre-employment drug test, and motor vehicle record check Ability to communicate in English, both oral and written Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities ABOUT BORREGO Borrego is a national leader in solar & energy storage, with strong and steady leadership and an outstanding culture of teamwork, integrity, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
