Construction Labor Helper

We are a contracting company based out of Columbia MD that is currently looking to add another punctual, reliable, fast paced and trustworthy individual to add to our team as a labor helper. The helper's duties would include but are not limited to material pickup and delivery, demolition & debris removal, some heavy lifting, shop organization and whatever various tasks are up that need an extra hand from masonry to carpentry. We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in the construction field and desire to learn. This is a base position however, if skills are obtained and growth is seen, there is always the opportunity to earn a higher position. Mandatory Qualities: Knowledge of arithmetic Must be willing to learn the principles, methods, basic tools and equipment used in the trade Must become knowledgeable and have the ability to safely operate hand and power tools Must be detail-oriented, solid organizational and good verbal skills. Communication is key You must possess a valid driver's license with a good diving history, pass a background check and also drug screening. Applicants must be willing to get DOT certified if hired. The hours would be Monday- Friday 7:30am -4pm. The pay rate is $16.00 per hour. Over time is available. Limited benefits are provided.
