Job Description General Warehouse - 7:00AM - 3:30PM Metro Produce is a family owned and operated Minnesota company. Since 1986 we’ve been serving the Twin Cities and surrounding areas by distributing fresh, organic and locally sourced fruits and vegetables to local partners. Come join our team! We are looking for dedicated and reliable associates to support our warehouse operations. Responsibilities would include unloading trucks, receiving including counting and verifying quality of produce, and putting inventory into the correct bins. We need someone who is dependable and isn't afraid to work hard. We are looking for someone who is available to work weekends and overtime as needed. Forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus! The end of your shift will vary, depending on the workload for the day. We love to promote from within and salary reviews come after 90 days! Responsibilities to include: Unloading trucks Receive inventory, counting and verifying quality Put inventory into the correct bins and keeping it in rotation Keep a clean and safe working environment Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations Other tasks as assigned by Supervisors or Managers Ideal Candidate would have some or all of these: Proven working experience as a warehouse worker Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods Good organizational and time management skills Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs. Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment Dependable and reliable track record is important Willing to work hard and have a great attitude as you do it Be able to pass a physical and drug test Able to pass a background check Does this sound like you?
