Apartment maintenance/building manager/repair man

Property maintenance company is looking for self motivated and responsable individual to work as building maintenance with rental apartments. Full time position 40-50hrs/week, has to have driver license+ ss#, reliable vehicle(mini van or pickup truck is a plus), own tools,speak English. Pay depending on skill level Per Hour, travel from one unit to the other payed.no benefits offered, 1099 will be issued Section8 requirement knowledge and experience is a huge plus! We work with hundreds of section8 units on the west side and north west suburbs but mainly west side of Chicago Work includes communicating directly with tenants, completing service calls, doing violation lists, pre-inspection work, getting units ready when tenants move out and etc. Work in our field never ends. experience needed: painting drywall work (repairs, plastering and etc) door repair/installation plumbing repairs(faucets,leaks,ptraps,toilets, wax rings and etc) Light electrical( lights,outlets, switches,breakers and etc) Cabinet repair/replacement and all other repairs Right person has to be fit to lift 60lb, carry+ climb the ladder, not afraid of heights, know how to deal with tenants directly and report daily activities/work done at the end of the day Please dont respond if you dont have reliable vehicle were you can fit your tools and get to work every day or if you have no idea what apartment repair man does day to day. We can teach the right person but knowledge, common sense, professionalism, sense of responsibility has to be in the right person.
