Meet Athena! We estimate her age to be about 4 or 5 years old. She is a retired Dutch breeder bun that was rescued after being dumped in a ditch with other Dutch rabbits. She is the last to find her forever home as she suffered some trauma and it took her quite a while to open up and relax. We wanted to make sure that she was happy and well adjusted before letting her move on. What this means for you is that for the past 11 months she’s been living in our home adjusting to life as a pampered house bun. She is mostly potty trained, loves cuddles and being pet, and enjoys exploring her home. Often still frisky enough to get the zoomies and do some binkies. She will do best in a home without other buns and without cats or dogs with high prey drive. She is cat, dog, and child savvy and is not timid around any of them so long as they are calm around her.
