Victor Excavating, Inc. is currently accepting resumes for a Senior Site Superintendent position to oversee commercial site work projects in the Greater Rochester area. The superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the daily excavation activities, including the scheduling and management of on-site personnel and jobsite management. Requirements: - 10 years experience in site excavation and management. - Ability to read and interpret blue prints and contracts. - Possess basic computer and mathematical skills. - Demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate and manage schedules. - Possess excellent communication skills. - Build relationships and create teamwork within the company. - Ability to lead and train people. - Maintains and monitors quality standards. - Ensuring that all on-site personnel comply with project procedures, safety programs and work rules. Skills and Abilities: Adaptability and flexibility to work effectively in a faced paced environment with ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously. Decisiveness, decision-making and problem-solving abilities to select among alternative courses of action within budget. Customer service oriented with good interpersonal skills; good verbal and written communication skills for interaction with a variety of people inside and outside of the company.
