Operator Assistant (current CDL class A required) 3554 Farm to Market Road 109, Columbus, Texas, 78934 Full-time Entry level Job Description We are looking for a licensed CDL Class A truck driver to serve on a pumping crew in the up stream oil and gas well service business. The safety of you and everyone around you is our number one priority. Responsibilities Transport equipment over land to and from well sites or company facilities. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes and arrive to customer sites on time. Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Safely maneuver trucks into tight positions. Report defects, accidents or violations Skills Must have obtained and currently hold a class A CDL professional drivers license. Ability to swing sledge hammer and lift up to 60 lbs. Ability to work long hours and travel regularly. Eager to learn no skills and industrial processes. No recent moving or driving violations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) Valid truck driving license Job Type: Full-time plus excess overtime. Lots of travel required. 2 weeks on 1 week off schedule. PPE provided except steal toe boots. Per diem paid $55/day. Bi-weekly pay. 100 % Healthcare coverage with HSA spending account.
