Oceano Dunes District has immediate openings for Maintenance Aides (Seasonal) Maintenance Aides: * Learn new skills * Maintain park grounds on the beautiful central coast * Work outdoors in our campgrounds, trails, day use areas and beaches * Use power tools to gain skills and knowledge * Training Provided Basic requirements: Applicants must possess the ability to read, write and speak English at a level required for successful job performance; demonstrate the ability to follow directions; compute simple mathematical calculations; to wear a uniform and conform to minimal grooming standards; establish work procedures and park rules and regulations; perform various manual tasks; interact successfully with the public and address their concerns; and possess the ability to work cooperatively and effectively with park staff and volunteers. Possession of a valid California driver's license and a safe driving record as documented by the Department of Motor Vehicles is required. Training is provided. Applicants must be willing to work day shift or swing shift, weekends and holidays. A typical work week is 30-40 hours. State housing is not available.
