Description
I'm interested in collaborating musically.
I play bass and guitar and program keys. Have my own reliable gear and reliable transportation.
I live in Bismarck. I'm willing to drive elsewhere to jam. No place to jam loudly since I live in an apartment.
Experience playing live and studio recording. Know tons of covers. I'm not closed off to play covers but I'm looking to create originals.
I play a variety of styles. Not locked into one style. Open to playing with people of varying musical backgrounds, experience, and skill level.
Gear: 2 black star amps el 34 and 6l6 to create warm and crisp stereo tones that accommodate the variety of genres played.
Pedal board with a variety of delays, reverbs, modulation pedals, wah, whammy, etc.
I'm a tone junkie. Lead and rhythm playing.
Not interested in playing with people who are drunk or stoned during sessions. In my experience, sober playing sounds better and creates an environment of truly feeling the music.
Influences: enya, john mayer, Hans zimmer, Brian eno, alice in chains, moby, variety of death metal/thrash bands, tool, rage against the machine, dream theater, acoustic pop folk (just to name a few).
Tunings: standard, e flat standard, drop d, drop c #, open tunings.
I'm looking to jam 1 to 2 times a week or when possible.
Email if interested.
Regards,
Erik
