Knowledge of different types of woods, paint, and stains, drawers, hinges and the components of a complete cabinet shop detail, from plywood to final installation. *** IMMEDIATE OPENING *** Upscale custom cabinet shop seeking VERY experienced cabinet maker. We are a General Contracting Firm of 18 years, within Our Company a dedicated showroom & client studio that operates a Custom Cabinet Manufacturing Facility in North Palm Beach, Florida. We produce and install High End Cabinetry, Counter tops, and Built-In Furniture. We are looking to add to our team Experienced Cabinet Makers / Finishers. You must have a current driver’s license, transportation, work ethic that supersedes today's expiations of the normal, speak English. You must be self-motivated and take initiative. If you don’t want to be your best do not apply. Our Custom Cabinetry Shop is looking for a cabinet maker to join our team. Established company having a strong customer base and offers continuous regular hours and overtime opportunities. Position requires at least 3 years, 5 years recommended experience building custom cabinetry and millwork. Candidates will have proficiency of all basic shop machinery and hand tools. Need to be able to understand cut lists, blueprints, and perform instructions from the Owner and Shop Foreman. Experience working with lumber, veneer and laminates. Knowledge of cabinet box construction, solid wood joinery. Experience using sliding table saw, shaper, jointer, planer, routers, etc. Organized, responsible, enthusiastic, and timely with a strong work ethic desired. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining the utmost standards in quality and craftsmanship a must. Must be able to read shop drawings and fabricate through completion; accurately, independently and with minimal supervision. Ability to follow direction and work well both independently and with others as part of a team. A desire to learn and advance with a well-established but growing company. Candidates will be encouraged and at times expected to work independently. Wages will be negotiable and correlate with candidates experience level.
